  1. Wow...never heard of snow emergency levels like that?? And I live in Nod where we got lots and lots of snow! Had they had such a thing here, I could only imagine the days I would have gotten to stay home rather than risk life and limb to get to work. Those in town had the benefit of mostly-plowed streets...not out here. Sometime you just have to guess where the road is. Stay safe GF!

    1. Oh it’s so funny - level 1 is basically, “hey, it’s snowy” level 2 is “be careful” and we all laugh about level 3 and its threat of “facing arrest”! I’m sure in Nod where there’s much more snow, they’d laugh at our 4 inches! And yes - the last to be plowed here, too - just LOVE it when the snowplow takes out the mailbox. Keep cozy, Robin - time for us to hibernate.

  2. Here we would not be under a snow emergency unless it was over 10 inches of snow. Janice

  3. This fresh snow is fantastic... so nice.
Luckily, we've already had some too, 4-5 cm. It was divine to hear the snow crunching under our shoes... nothing else... absolute silence, which is sometimes so good.
Now it's around 4 degrees Celsius... and I'm looking forward to the next snowfall...
    Thanks for your photos!
    Love, Viola

    1. I couldn’t agree more fantastic is the best word! I really do like this time of hibernation and a break from all the outdoor work-but it’s also so beautiful, and the super moon coming up a couple of nights ago was gorgeous with the snowfall. Thanks so much for stopping by!
