This just makes my heart happy…
A crock no one wanted, ticking that someone had tossed aside, and a handed-down, chipped cup.
Oh well, no better excuse to put my feet up by the fire. Lesson learned? Probably not.
Wherever you find yourself today, I hope your heart is happy and your toes are toasty!

Sounds like a good day 😊. Sweet little crock. Not sure I’ve ever seen a solid blue one.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what it was used for-no matter, a happy rescue for me!
DeleteI wonder what the story is with all of those beautiful things.
ReplyDeleteStay toasty, Mary!
Hate to see things tossed aside - and that blue crock is just one of my favorite colors!
DeleteYou created a wonderful display. Love it! Janice
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Janice -
DeleteYou are the Queen of displays!
Thanks, my heart was happy and my toes toasty
ReplyDeleteYay just as it should be in January!
ReplyDeleteI am guilty of the slipper and snow thing way to many times I just never learn.
ReplyDeleteI love that blue crock.
Cathy
Thanks Cathy - I’m in good company!
DeleteI love your little imperfects…they always tug at my heartstrings. A bit damaged and worn like many of us, yet found useful enough to save. Nothing is toasty and warm here much as I might try. We were -19 this morning (without windchill) and it’s going to get colder from here. I think I saw that by the end of the week our low today will be very close to our high then. EEK.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe, Mary. And I hope your slippers have dried out by now. Xx
