Friday folly …

Four completely random questions that crossed my mind this morning…

1 - Do hockey fans know that Script Ohio can be achieved on ice? (Yes, yes proud mom here).

It can (cleats are a must) and it’s amazing! Today the OSU band is off to perform at The NCAA Frozen Four…good luck!

2 - Is there any reason this must be categorized as “GRAY hair?”  I just renewed my drivers license.

Grrrrr -  I know, it’s silly, but why is “salt & pepper” not an option?! (as well as silver or white.)

3- Why is this fabulous old house abandoned???

Oh my goodness I could live there and be oh-so happy! Amazing porch, perfect color, but sadly, on a busy street surrounded by businesses.

And lastly…

4 - Am I the only one who thinks having this store open to the public is a bad idea?

My daughter and I popped into a large home improvement store, only to discover the power was out. We were told, “No problem, take a look around; just avoid the chandelier area.”

We didn’t stay long - the doors were propped open for light and there was a storm blowing in. I don’t know about you, but to me this looks like it has the makings of a horror movie.

And there they are, four absolutely unimportant questions for your Friday.

Have a wonderful weekend friends!

  1. Ahhhh no...no thanks to that "Final Destination" looking area (have you seen those movies?). Also...I'd love that Salt Box house too! I feel that way about race. If I click white I don't honor my native side. When I click native American they look at me like I'm lying....can't win.

    1. No haven’t seen those movies - probably too scary for me! And I love Robin’s idea - maybe someone will move that wonderful old house. Would love to see inside!

    2. Oops sorry - Janice’s idea to move the house!

  2. I would not go into a store with no power. We lost power once at ur store and asked customers to leave. We just did not want to take the chance of shoplifters. I agree, silver and salt and pepper should be a category. Oh I wish I could own a house like that. Maybe someone can move it. Would be sad to see it torn down. Janice

    1. You and Robin, great minds as they say - yes someone save and love that old house! And haircolor - just can’t admit it / yep, there’s lots of gray.

  3. Welllll??? As to No. 1, no, I did not know that...then again, I'm neither a hockey fan nor from Ohio. Re No. 2...If I looked that good I wouldn't care what color they classified my hair color as. No. 3: Beautiful...and sad...but, perhaps you answered your own question. No one who appreciates that kind of beauty would likely want to live on a busy street surrounded by businesses. Finally, No. 4...Hmmm.... One word: Yes (a very bad idea).

    1. Ha - not a hockey fan either, Robin. But I do enjoy a good marching band And so true - Script Ohio is probably only a big deal here! I do hope the house is rescued - it would be a shame not to save it. And thanks for the kind words - I just don’t want to admit to the salt part of salt and pepper!

  5. I can't even believe that they let you in such a fall risk.
I love the color of your hair. Mine is pure white and thin.

    1. Oh and we shouldn’t have even gone in - trust me, it was a quick turnaround! Funny how they reassured us it was perfectly safe, the store was a “storm shelter.” Hmmm that’s not going to stop a chandelier from falling!
