  2. Thanks Janice - Bailey loves to snuggle under any blanket; just like me :). Temps are warming up a bit this weekend - probably just enough to be a mess - what’s a girl to do?

  3. Well Girl...you are even colder than Nod.Far colder believe it or not. I don't believe we will be below 0º even for the lows this week. (Yipppeee!) At least your cozy evenings and snuggle buddy go far to atone for the winter chill.

    1. I know I am definitely in the minority, Robin, but I am a firm believer in winter. If for no other reason to rid myself of the dreaded summertime tick - I hate them. I hate what they do. I hate how they do it. And if we could have 2 feet of snow from Thanksgiving to March I would be deliriously happy! Hope you’re warm up there - just hibernate.

  4. Oooooh, remind me not to complain about single digits here in NC! No doubt Bailey and the treasures around you make your home very cozy indeed. Blessings...

    1. It was short-lived, and we never see anything that low – but boy, the old farmers almanac predicted it, and they were exactly right! I don’t wanna complain because oddly enough I would rather have this than 90° summer heat!!

    1. Oh Cathy, that’s a perfect description – tuck in, there’s nothing we can do about it! This year I’ve really hibernated and I’m not feeling one bit guilty!

    1. Aww thanks - she’s a real sweetie, don’t know how she found us five years ago, but so glad she did. She was hiding in the barn – hard to know what her backstory is, but somebody missed out on a really terrific companion.

  7. Good gravy! That's really cold! I can only imagine where you must live. You're not in southern Missouri, that's for sure. I hope it warms up for you soon. I'm visiting from Afternoon Coffee and Evening Tea. Happy weekend! Laura

    1. Hi Laura and thanks for swinging by from Billie Jo’s! I’m in Ohio, and temps that low are not the norm - it’s been a doozy of a winter for everyone! That’s okay with me, I’ve been in hibernation mode :)
